Wow! My 88 Y/o Grandmother Sent Me This.
I'm really amazed the old lady is concerned about this sort of stuff. I've never mentioned my views on Big Bro, NWO etc, so for this to arrive out of the blue in my email is really surprising.

One thing I did notice the officer say is that the plate recogition flags plates associated with unlicenced drivers. My question is WHY? I can lose my licence tomorrow and still legally let YOU drive my car! So where the fuck is probable cause?

[edit] Shit... attachment didn't upload... will fix this post.

The email she sent me had a list of NON-bcc recipients.

I asked some questions in reply and plugged the site. I wonder if anyone who read my reply will wake up?

Quote:One of the things the officer said in the video is that unlicenced drivers have their licence plates associated with them.

I have some questions:

1) Can they stop that vehicle for merely belonging to an unlicenced owner?

2) If so WHY? I can have my licence suspended tomorrow and still legally allow YOU to drive my car with a licence.

3) Given that FACT, does that give police the "PROBABLE cause" to pull you over in traffic? I think not. People who suggest otherwise support tyranny.

The police in my area have this same type of system. They often sit around by busy roads, logging license plates of cars that drive by.

And with the beautiful data base thats here, or will eventually come, everything you do- groups you affiliate with, your political ideology ("American blogger arrested as enemy propogandists"), etc can be known by a mear 6 or 7 digits.

lots of new little fixtures going up on top of the stop lights out here where i live in southern wisconsin. i'm convinced they're in preparation for martial law. they're not cameras or simple traffic sensors, they put the sensors inside the roads. they honestly look like little floodlights with a small megaphone or speaker of some sort to be honest with you. i'll have to go get some pics next week.

ALPR has been in use in the UK for a while, it has recently been linked to an insurance database. It instantly flaggs up if you havn't got insurance.

Not a bad thing in itself. Just the implications that are scarey. No one wants to get hit by an uninsured driver.

The UK is also the leader in face recognition technology.
