Ted Anderson : Gcn Network Owner
:pfft:

Quote:Dear Ted,

You have talk show hosts such as Alex Jones asking people to copy his stuff.
I have people like Jack Blood of RBN as members of my forum encouraging my site to distribute
Jack Blood's show. Isn't it a little absurd to worry about past shows when your very network
invites people to listen for free anyhow?

That's the issue I have with radio copyrights. If you ran a "pay per listen" service I wouldn't
question the legitimacy of a copyright complaint, however given the free invitation for any and all
to listen, surely there's another alternative to removing a lot of great information?

Would you consider giving my site a redistribution agreement in return for some yearly fee?

Wow, I never thought we'd see this day. I'm speechless. No more AJ shows? He lets them out for free on his website anyways. I just don't get it. It's public fucking domain how can you claim copyright infringement?

The ironic thing to me is that the previous owner Rod Moses explicitly gave me permission to re-stream the network.:huh: Go figure.

Well I just posted Sundays KLBJ show. It was not on the banned list. But it was predicted. The patriot community would turn on itself. I am not surprised.

Other sites are putting up the shows in .ogg and I understand that is not a problem with Turddy,....oops sorry! Teddy. I can do .wav or PCM or some other format that would easily be made into mp3.

I know this is not a warez site but I do have an old copy of Streambox Ripper that many used to do conversion to mp3. It is orphaned software. You could not buy it even if you wanted too.

Who has a suggestion???

Why should the format be a problem or not a problem? That makes no sense. At least not to me.

Now might be the time to ask RBN how they feel. There might be a good chance of them get "one up" on GCN and give us permission in stone.

Just sent an email, hope it sounds good
My copy:-

Hi,
I would just like to have my say on your email to the website "conspiracy central". I am a full subscriber to Alex Jones and I use conspiracy central to get the shows off because it is faster, especially from here in the UK. Alex Jones is a promoter of free speech and your network is mostly known because of Alex's work.
Myself and hundreds of other people have come to listen and subscribe to alex because peer to peer spreads the word faster and thats where they heard him first.
I can re-assure you that the majority of people on Conspiracy Central who have listened to Alex, will/have subscribed to him/or download off his site. It is just a quicker way to receive files, thats it.
In no way would it harm the GCN radio network business wise, if it did we would be hurting Alex Jones, and there isn't a person in the conspiracy research field who would do that.
Thank you for a great free speech program in Alex Jones' program , please let's keep it that way together.

You know what I'd like to see transpire out of all this? I'd like to see concen and gcn reach an agreement where concen can subscribe to the 32kbit gcn stream and re-stream it for concen members without an aditional burden to gcn's bandwidth plus the go ahead to carry on with the torrents. The free stream sounds like crap.

Golddigger Wrote:> You are posting archives from the productions of the Genesis Communications
I don't think there are too many torrents with archive content. Most radio show torrents are ripped streams. Teddy "Golddigger" Anderson can't stop ripped non-copyrighted mp3s from being shared.

I bet this is fake anyway.
Ctrl does the "Received From" header info checkout?
