last night i spent almost my entire time at work writing a response to your above comments - justifying the ideology behind Communism and explaining how the Cuban electoral system works. tried to post it but got that bloody "exceeded quota" message, so saved it and decided to try again later. however, since then, the more i thought about it, the more i thought, although it may be technically correct (at least from my perspective) it really wasn't saying what i wanted to say and it was trying to justify a system/ideology which i don't believe in anyway! - pretty bloody stupid, huh?

you see, my basic problem here is, (and sorry this is way of thread guys - if you think i should start another topic let me know) although i accept Communism is fundamentally flawed and can never work, to me it at least promises or represents an equitable world - one where no one starves and no one lives off the labour of others. and that to my mind is preferable to what we have now.

it seems that there is not a single member of Concen who isn't critical of the structures and people who control our world. that is pretty much all you get - "the system's shit", "leaders are corrupt", "tiny groups control extraordinary wealth and power", "millions starve while others gorge", "people are in slavery"... yes, i agree - who doesn't? - and yes, smash the NWO (or however you want to conceptualise it). but, once you have done that, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO PUT IN ITS PLACE? or are you just going to let humanity die out?

Capitalism is shit. Communism doesn't work. Anarchy would be exploited by the same psychopaths who exploit current systems. so what's the alternative? Religion?

i'm not trying to be argumentative, i'm looking for solutions.

i can PM you the stuff i wrote on Communism and the Cuban system (which is not Communism (can't be 'cos it allows religion)) if you like but it runs to about 1,000 words and it's not really relevant (although i think it's interesting to compare how they view democracy with our version).
