How Old Are You Guys? And When/why Did You Wake Up?

Which brings me back to Nexus. It used to be a lot better. I eventually found that quite a lot of the material in there was a complete waste of time. The ads seemed mainly placed by hucksters. A kind of creepy New Age mentality had set in that freaked me out - too often I've seen this mentality destroy people's ability to think rationally.

Your spot on there.

I came to see Nexus, and its competitors New Dawn and Hard Evidence (formerly Exposure Magazine), as a simple rehash of various internet articles with an editorial thrown in, all of which involved minimal fact checking. Not a bad way to make money and sell subscriptions.

hmmmm That sounds very familiar... hehe

How Old Are You Guys? And When/why Did You Wake Up?
The first time I got an idea that the world wasn't what I thought was in 5th grade. We were having a discussion about how the US dominated world affairs. I remember it clearly to this day. One of the 6th grade students raised his hand and said " The US doesn't rule the world, the trilateral commission does." The argument went on and I was disturbed by the lack of a good refuting by the teacher. She nearly agreed with him. This incident really planted a seed in my head, I'm not joking. For the next 10 years I would mention the Trilateral Commission here and there and I never got a good answer. This was about the mid 80's. That kid was ahead of his time. I do feel like I always thought the world was a little off. I just had a sense of the matrix or something.

I remember discovering as a kid that many of the first light bulbs made by edison were still working. I found out they were working simply because he would pull them down to a complete vacuum before sealing the glass tube. I learned that modern bulbs were purposely made with just a little bit of air left in the bulb so that they would burn out and have to be replaced in a short amount of time. Even as a kid it registered to me that this kind of shame was only good for one thing and that was making money. It wasn't good for the consumer or the environment. There had to be some kind of force keeping this kind of thing at play. That kind of conspiracy exists all over in our consumer environment but we think little about it.

I was also very intrigued by the JFK assassination, always. This sparked my interest in conspiracy theories in general. I will always believe that a group of people killed JFK and I could never understand why anyone believed it was a lone nut. This sort of readied me to be open to more ideas I think. I've always been into unsolved mysteries, alternate theories. I'm a tesla fan from way back. In about 8th grade I had a science teacher who would talk about tesla the whole class every day if you let him. This got me interested in alternative theories on science.

When I was a senior in high school my physics teacher showed Bob Lazar's video's in class. Those tripped me out.

Alex Jones is the one that snapped me out of it finally in 2004. He gets credit where credit is due. I saw "The Road to Tyranny" under recommendation from a guy I met online gaming and I think it took less 15 minutes of it to sober me right up. That really dropped my jaw. I started spending all night. Night after night for years on the internet, on different 9/11 sites and torrent sites. I started noticing concen on my tracker list when I'd go to download something all the time. One day I think I finally googled the site and found the tracker. At first I just joined for the tracker and I lurked on the forums for a while before I started posting.

I think I'll keep how old I am a mystery for no good reason. I gotta stay a John Doe in some respects.

How Old Are You Guys? And When/why Did You Wake Up?
I am 28, husband and father of two.

Waking up for me was a gradual process. I never really bought into the "mainstream" views on anything. So it was not hard for me to look into alternative world views. I went through a period of time where I was looking into spiritual things and my path led me to mt. Shasta's new age community. I went to a few new age functions and met some gurus. Then abandoned it because I refused to buy into that karma bullish^t. Growing up in very poor areas made me indignant to any idea that karma was involved and not politics. So began to study politics and read a number of books that opened my mind to the media control, corporatism and globalization. I began to be very liberal and then a few significant things happened. A friend told me that there was this book published that was referred to in The Source (hip hop magazine) of an ex military person who wrote a book about a government within a government, Behold a Pale Horse by William Cooper. I bought it having no idea what I was about to get myself into. I scanned it quickly and wasn't sure what to think about it but I agreed with alot of it already like the war against the citizens stuff. The only difference is that I thought the motivation of the government corruption was simply greed. A friend picked me up one day to hang out and he wanted to go to a used book store, so I went. After looking around for an hour I asked the guy at the desk if he has ever heard of the Freemasons and his eyes lit up. He said that he was looking into them too but didn't know much about them. I asked if they had any books and he passed me a book called Morals and Dogma by Albert Pike. I read that book and began to study the organizations history. I was shocked. I went through a pretty intense time of fear and anger but kept reading. I was tripping because all the stuff I read while studying with new agers and Mormons was pretty much the same. I had remembered all the references to the mystery schools and freemasonry in new age, but did not know what they were talking about. It was finally making sense and I was understanding. Then I found that almost all of the new age teachers I had been studying were Freemasons, Rosicrucian's or Golden Dawn or at minimum was connected to masonry. So I read back through William Coopers book in great detail. I began to just research his claims about the government, secret societies and all the links between the organizations. I did this without the internet so it was alot of book reading. After years of study I eventually saw the full truth and finally many of the things I was taught in school that just didnt add up was making sense. The final conclusion I had learned was confirmed when one day I found out that William Cooper had a radio show (mystery Babylon series) that I downloaded and listened to. I was right on track. When 9-11 happened, I already knew who it was at work and why. So, after a long time I came to be a Christian realizing that prophecies were coming to life before my eyes. The rest is history.

So, the actual moment I felt awake was around the year 2000 but it was years in the making. Everything since then was just wiping the crusties off my eyes. The very very thick crusties might I add.

Actually, Legionnaires are members of The American Legion, an organization of war veterans. Up here in Canada, we have The Royal Canadian Legion.

Legionnaires disease didn't exist until modern times because it's a symptom of a poorly maintained air conditioning system. When condensation from the air collects and bacteria grow in the stagnant water you get the disease from airboarn bits of bacteria in the air.

Quote:Further analysis revealed that the bacteria thrived in the Bellevue-Stratford hotel's cooling tower. From that water supply the hotel derived its air conditioning and the bacteria were actively pumped into the hotel. Since 1976, air conditioning changed, with federal agencies all over the world requiring more stringent cleaning and hygiene provisions for cooling towers and large scale air conditioning systems.

It's actually a thermophilic bacteria, which was previously undetected because until that point nobody believed bacteria could survive in such temperatures.

How Old Are You Guys? And When/why Did You Wake Up?
I'm 40 and woke up about 3-4 years ago.

However I did maybe 30-40 Anti-NWO radio shows in the late 80's. The show was called Zany and was broadcasted on a local American station here in Switzerland called Radio 74.

The lady doing the shows wrote a script every week and the show lasted 12 years. My character was called Danny Boy:crazy: shit I still have all the hundreds of tapes, as Zany died 4-5 years ago or more

Damn heard myself the other night from a 1988 tape, bitching about the Dems/Gop not even sure I fully understood it all, thank God for the script.

Zany had 3 sources, IHT, Guardian and Le Monde

The good old days when it didn't seem real to me

Your right, I was going off memory of those guys outfits. At that age they all seemed to blend together.

One reason the war against racism (and sexism) cannot be won is that once a group is admitted to the club of &being white,& or being allowed, in the case of sexism, to use &the flawed white male model,& it already has learned all too well how to play the role of being superior to those still remaining outside those exclusive clubs. The real problem is that the illicit rewards, both tangible and intangible, in a racist and/or sexist society are so enormous that there is hardly any incentive to do otherwise.&

Can rip the crap out of a video, but Audio transfer from a tape, seems to be easy and I might finally get around to doing one, actually my buddy said he'd do one for me over the week-end

So Ognir fighting the NWO 1989 or so is on the way
