If you wish to believe that, you are of course entitled to your opinion. Just be aware that your opinion isn't based on relevant facts, data and scientific understanding, it's based on ignorance of those things.

I hope you take this as a push to actually read up on these things yourself. If you don't wish to do so, it leads me to think that you WANT to believe that space radiation is deadly at any level of exposure: that way you can safely hide behind this errant belief and claim that the moon landings never happened.

Ignorance is NOT bliss, so I challenge you to read up about these things and come to a conclusion based on actual facts, rather than your own opinion about what space radiation is like.

I do believe they went to the moon but the video is a fake - they
didn't go there with the technology they said they did with.

Like I said, you're entitled to your opinion. It just isn't based on any facts I've been privy to.

If discussion of the facts is classed as "wannabe intellectual talk", then maybe I should go somewhere else. After all, what's left? Conjecture and speculation? By all means believe in something there's no evidence for (do feel free to enlighten me if there is any evidence), but I'll choose to disregard that unfounded belief for the same reason I don't believe there are invisible pink unicorns dancing at the bottom of my garden.

i definitely dont think they went to the moon. there are way too many problems with the footage, and just about everything else surrounding it. like for instance the actions of the astronauts being interviewed at their little press conference right after they supposedly returned to earth. just watching the way they are all acting: nervous, uncomfortable, doing shit with their hands. and all around just not excited about what they say they just did. its like they didnt wanna be there. at all. why would that be? wouldnt they be totally jubilant? excited? on top of the world, so to speak?
what would the reasons be for this behavior? to me its simple. even if there was no other evidence, such as the photographs..many issues with those, the radiation problem, and the fact that they are now struggling to do something they were supposed to have done decades ago...even if none of this existed, watching these men that day at that press conference seals it for me. there is no reason at all for them to be acting like that, unless they were feeling guilty of something. and that something is blatantly lieing to the world about such a massive story.

there are too many things brought up in that "a funny thing happened on the way to the moon". im sure ppl have problems with some of the shit in that movie. but there are also way too many things you cant argue away. the photographs, the camera trickery they were trying to pull off on the way up, through the porthole, etc.

they tricked everyone back then cuz no one knew better. now that we do, its time for all to stop allowing this lie to go on. its just one more in the big bag of lies we have all been fed all throughout our lives. thats what they do. tell us lies. this is just one more. a very big one.

goodness this post went on longer than I expected - I am glad it has brought some discussion to the table again. The bottom line for me is, it would have easier to fake the landings than actually go to the moon, score points away from russia, so it was like killing two birds with one stone.

OK so help me out.

From what I have been told the Van Allen belts themselves would have caused serious harm to the apollo astonauts had they actually passed through them. Yet none of them suffered any ill effects from going right into them and back.

Is this wrong?

why? this is what i was always told as well. and is what i seem to read whenever i go looking for shit on the moon landing. so, you are saying this is a fallacy? that humans are able to pass through that belt and not be harmed?
