You're completely right about this Blackthor. For one you've got movies and then the media and television networks all using the themes that we all know so well.

Last night I watched the Simpsons Movie and that was rife with it, it made me feel sick to be honest. Also Harry Potter was full of police state ideas and techno fascism.

Yet my question is this, do the writers and creators who make these films find themselves influenced by the governments own propaganda or are they themselves contributing to the illusion of bullshit?

In my opinion it's a bit of both, yet I think once the 911 ball started rolling the momentum sucks creative sheeple into the machine, and the internal naturally mirrors the external, the external in this case flows into the work of artists and writers adding to the illusion within popular culture, remember, culture is your enemy :wink:

@ bluecrab, you but only have to look to see it all. It's in the commercials for these shows, you don't have to watch the whole series to see it. And as in the two links above, you see it's the theme for marketing to youth also.

I don't know either, and it's frustrating as hell, the new Transformers movie is absolutely full of men in black uniforms while selling corporate products.

It seems to be the really big blockbusters/shows/books that have more programming within. When we watch the screen we go into download mode. This could mean that whatever we input effects our output, this being our outlook/worldview and in effect our group/herd jointly created reality en mass.

Culture in this sense is a bad thing. Just look at where this monster is going, the adverts are proof of this on going degradation.

I think it's going to get a lot worse, then maybe if we're still alive it will get better.
