I'm not from the US but I support Ron Paul, however I tend to stay out of supporting him unless I can get away with doing it as a non-US citizen (e.g. web polls, youtube subscriptions etc...).

I remember both Bush "elections" in 2000 & 2004. The whole world wanted Al Gore / Kerry and was very vocal to the US and its citizens about it. Almost like a rebelling teenager, the populace of the US went into nationalistic mode and thought "vote for Bush" as if the world hated him he must be right....

I like Ron Paul because he's a huge thorn in the side of the establishment, but I don't think he's the be-all and end-all of this battle that we're all fighting.

I think this sarcasm is funny but a step in the wrong direction. We should be stoked that people are so excited over him & that his popularity is growing rather than cynical in my opinion. People flipping out in this matter that's parodied here is a good thing. If you look at the real situation of what's going on today we really don't have the room or luxury to be cynical about it. Just my 2 cents, still funny though.
