The International Herald Tribune (at this link) stated the following on June 14th "... died Tuesday in Paris, his family said in an announcement in the daily newspaper Le Figaro on Thursday. The cause of death was not given."

The more and more I research, I'm coming to the conclusion that money is worthless and what will we do when it's gone, along with the creators of these fiat pyramid systems. Housing prices on average fell 11% last month alone. It's just starting and the fed is at a loss as to what to do next to stimulate growth. When that happens, they know it's just about time to pull the plug.

Here are some recent stats regarding the housing market. I took some notes after listening to the Patriot News Hour, broadcast here in Phoenix and nationally syndicated.

1.1 million foreclosures according to a study are up and coming
There is a 1 in 3 chance of losing your house if you have signed an ARM between 2004-2006 with a teaser rate of 4% or less.
in 2004 32% of California loans were arms
in 2005, 41% were arms
in 2006 62% were arms
that's 1/3 of 62% of the market that

The study was focuesd on 4.8 million arms. 1/3rd is 1.1 million (???!!) This is under the assumption that the housing market didn't drop after December 2006. For every 1% in value the home prices fall, add another 70,000 homes to the 1.1 million they forecast.

3/10 homes in Las Vegas had trustee notices attached to them. (but now they're saying the market is turning around in Las Vegas, uh yeah)

A regular rate (a higher rate and no arm) your chances are 1 in 8.
