any one know where i can buy additive free cigarettes in Canada. i've heard mention of the American Spirit variety in U.S. Can I buy those in Canada? Where?

i thought this little hive mind would come up with an answer for me ... i guess not ... i googled, but all the sites i found were american. and they don't ship across the border.

They do sell them in Cali. Everywhere in the US as far as I know. The main difference with them is they burn incredibly long. Almost twice as long as a conventional cigarette. That's probably one of the main functions of the additives. To make them burn up all quick so you need to buy more. The poisoning is just a secondary benefit. :biggrin:

yes of course you can get them here in Canada. You can even buy the lose stuff to roll on your own. Any decent tobacconist will carry them, or if you have a MAC'S convenience store they have em too. (I am in BC and there's no problem getting them here) A bit more pricy though. Also you will be surprised at how different they seem to taste compared to most of the other regular cigs.

Well, I didn't exactly order it. I just went out for a stroll and headed to the nearest tobacco store which I knew for sure sells them. I'm actually amazed why people in a country that lies much closer to the source, in fact adjacent even, have so much more difficulty in getting them than my far away Dutch self does. Are you sure you cannot find some in big Canadian cities? Specialized tobacco stores of some sorts I don't know...

Removing few chemicals from tobacco won't make it any safer when it contains 400 other carcinogenic chemicals.
