What a long week. I am wasted. Imagine carrying a big heavy radio up and down hills for 4 days on patrols. I am crazy tired. But it's all good now.

It was an ordeal, but actually it was quite good for me, considering how much stronger I've grown just over the past four days. I'm kinda looking forward to the next one in the way that I look forward to working out.

I'm thinking of the theme from Rocky right now... "Getting Stronger..."

I had few Battery Operated Marines (Richard Simmons was one FYI) as friends, always felt bad for them having to carry that monster pack of theirs, but than again carrying a mortar base plate would suck pretty bad too. My camera gear never added more than 15 pounds to my pack so I have no idea how much what you did had to suck.
