B Code?
I looked into the Bible Code a while back and at first it seemed interesting but they seem to only predict what has happened. I'll try and see if I can find a link to a site that pretty much dismissed it as not being real. More like a connect the dots afterwards.

It looks like this one just defines a pattern, nothing more... |

Sorry, but all the ones I've seen done the same. They say the event has to happen first.

B Code?
If the Bible (or any other book for that matter) has some code in it, why do these people never come up with predictions about the future that come true?

B Code?
Because they don't. There may be some hidden meanings, interjected material, deleated material, but they don't contain codes for future.
How many times is it mentioned that one should not be concerned with the future problems, today's problems is enough to deal with. If we dealt with what is at hand we would not be in this mess because we (generally speaking) would have kept evil people from power each day. By diverting our interest, perverting our views on focus they have caught us at bay with concerns for tomorrow not heeding the advice nor correcting the problems each day. |

The question is, is this guy defining a real pattern or code? If not, please explain... If he is, what does this mean?

Quote:The question is, is this guy defining a real pattern or code? If not, please explain... If he is, what does this mean? Just my beliefs but I think it's a code, not necessarily a pattern, but I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time. I kind of got interested in Bible Code about a year ago but after watching and learning what I could grasp it seemed like more like knowing a fact then making the code add up to the fact. I saw a film a while back, I'll see if I can find it in the ones I've bookmarked that made a bit more sense. It more or less used the Bible as a road map for future and possibly past events but not necessarily from a Christian perspective. Not sure if I can explain it, kinda like de-evolution. It used the Bible as a coded message instead of a religion. Now it was at first hard to watch, since I'm Christian but I really enjoyed it. Actually made sense in many ways. If you are a Christian, view it, first 15 minutes is hard but then view it with an open mind and a lot of it makes sense. Especially the symbols and their past. |

B Code?
The bible code is obviously bullshit. Anybody who understands statistics could tell you that. Have you ever looked up at the clouds in the skies and seen lots of faces, etc? Same concept.
Then there's the fact that the bible has been translated numerous times...
