Hi everyone
First off THANK YOU ALL for participating in the distribution of all the fantastic material I have found in recent months on your tracker, I have learned so much in watching the vids and reading all the books on various topics. I've done my best to keep seeding things I have downloaded as long as I can, at least til I have upped more than I got where possible. I'm an Aussie free thinker and skeptic, been looking on and off for years for a place like this online where alternate ideas aren't immediately tossed aside as pseudoscience and crackpot theory. Hope to learn a lot more and contribute at least a little to some of the conversations that go on here. One of the pressing reasons I decided to join your forum site here now is an experience I had recently on another forum, supposedly one dedicated more to hard science and rigorous exploration of the facts, yet an unbiased question about The Horizon Project's factual basis was attacked and ridiculed almost immediately by several forum regulars, citing numbers and other "facts" that they couldn't link to and eventually the thread was moved to their "lunatic fringe" category without any serious discussion. The spitters eventually conceded they didn't really have any clue what they were talking about, and for over a week now the discussion has been dead. That's just one example of my experience in attempting to isolate some "facts" regarding an alternate theory, from reading just a little of the content on the forum here so far, I trust I will have a much more interesting and satisfying time in your company.
