This is Edmond Paris' shocking book The Vatican against Europe (1964) which is probably one of the biggest exposes of the suppressed role of Vatican's Roman Catholic Church in the horrible wars of previous century (World war 1&2), with special emphasis on its secret role in supporting the rise of nazism and fascism. Paris, himself a catholic, clearly shows the responsibility of the Roman Church and its orders (especially the jesuits) in the unparalleled catastrophe of the two World Wars. In October 1998, Pope John Paul II paid a visit to Croatia to beatify Cardinal Alojsije Stepinac. Beatification in the Church of Rome is only one step away from nomination to sainthood.
