Quote:I am getting pretty tired of your silly little arguments. Why not try and be at least constructive in your criticisms. Right now and like so many instances you just bitch and moan about non-issues and consistently fail to contribute absolutely anything. Who gives a flying fuck how if the picture posted corresponds to the one in the movies. It's the message that counts. And yes, of course I have seen the movie, how else do you think I can review it to begin with? It does not matter if a big bad tough-guy like yourself does not get feel any sensation of fear and anxiety while watching the movie, it's the overall more frail, vulnerable and wimpy target audience I am focusing on. I did John Rambo precisely to please hard-hitting balls-of-steel tough-guys like yourself. Shame you have to resort to insults. I didn't realise questioning your research would make you so angry. I apologise. I would've thought posting the actual pictures of the creature involved in the (fictional) Cloverfield Incident would qualify as "contributing" something. Obviously accuracy has no part in your break-down of this, or any other, film!! Where was the Straussian interpretation or the use of Maslow to analyse the movie? Maybe you don't credit people with the intelligence to tell real life from fiction. Personally I liked the film for what it was - a monster movie - I didn't attempt to inject some intellectual content that, frankly, wasn't there to begin with. I suppose if you take preconceived ideas into the film and use them to make your interpretation then you are bound to get a biased result/viewpoint. I'm all for research as long as it's objective and accurate. Yours, in this particular case, wasn't. More power to you though, I find them interesting and, sometimes, informative to read. I hope I'm not going to be threatened by a ban (like so many other sceptical members of this site) because I didn't toe the ConCen party line. peace M.E P.S - I haven't seen the new Rambo movie so I couldn't comment on its content. Is it worth a watch? |
