I've been studying Taoist astrology for a few months now and I'd like to take an opportunity to test my skills on people I don't know personally. If you'd like to hear your Taoist "horoscope" then just tell me you're birth year, (and date if born in January or February) and the hour of the day in which you were born. For example:

From this information I should be able to divulge your exact personality characteristics as well as the personalities that are best and least suited to you.

According to your birth year you were born in a yin-metal year of the boar. Yin metal is characterized with the colour silver, so you are a "silver boar." Since metal traits are not intrinsic boar traits, silver boars are perhaps surpassed only by white boars, the yang metal boar, for the strongest and most fortuitous combination of elements.

An exceptional reading. Very detailed. I wasn't aware that rising signs figured that much in eastern astrology.

My analysis...

Very true. I've been called indepent to a fault by many. I am very determined to stick to my chosen aims once started.

So true, people always say I seem so angry when I speak my mind. Only a couple of months ago I was accused of this when engaged in a bit of public speaking and debate.

Absolutely bang - on. All through my life I've been blessed and fascinated with synchro. 2005 was weird when I was 33...33's were everywhere I looked. I kept a synchro-journal throughout 2006 and it's just a staggering read.

Fantastic! Thanks for trying it out. It was a lot of fun. I'm glad it was so accurate. I forgot to tell you, your symbol, or totem, is a cauldron or kettle. Domestic metallic objects really. Unassuming on the surface but possessing great practicality and function. This symbology can be soothing or helpful to your subconscious personality.

I was born at 4:20pm PST but 7:20pm where I was born locally. The twelve hour difference between the signs makes a significant difference. 4:20am is ruled by tiger, while 4:20pm is the domain of the monkey. Monkey teases tiger mercilessly, and so the two are bitter enemies. Tigers are passionate and emotional. Monkeys are clever. While tigers harmoniously balance with dogs, they can become childish and irresponsible. On the other hand, they are fun-loving by nature, which explains for this trait.

Alchemically, Tiger poorly balances with Dog however, as the metal Dog threatens to overbear the Tiger, which is a wood element (albeit a powerful one.) Monkey, on the other hand, strengthens the metal quality of the Dog. If you are a Monkey rising, it might be a good idea to train cardiovascularly (word?) and avoid smoking. Pretty accurate for me. I've always felt like "the protector" in my family, being the oldest child of 3, and on my hockey teams. I was always "the enforcer". hehe I've always felt indignant at the injustices done to those not able to protect themselves in my eyes.
I also use the motto of "Always constant, accurate and intense". I got the last part at least. :confused:

Stubborn has always been a word used to describe me. I use it myself quite frequently.
I realized early on that I have to love what I'm doing and then it's 1000%. I'm always considering the strong possibilities of bi-polar disorder in artistic types due to the extremes and the seemingly unconnected extremes of my tastes and personality. :crazy:

I don't even have to meet them in person to "understand" them. Sometimes I get it all in an instant. It's so intense sometimes it leaves me speechless.

As an adult I learned to embrace my duality. My goal is always to let the fire temper the steel into a keen edge.
I've found some great wisdom in the Tao and Lao-tsu's words.

I like this. Something completely different from what I've had so far.

You are a Yellow Horse. Yellow is the Earth element expressed in a masculine form, making your personal symbol a mountain. Again, like most ConCen members so far, your alchemical relationship is greatly balanced. Horse is a fire element, and Fire "nurtures" Earth because when fire burns ash is created. This means you find most things in life come easy to you and you don't have to struggle as much as others to succeed. Not to be a downer, but entering the year of the Rat is poor tidings for the Horse. Opposite the Horse on the zodiac, Rats are a bad omen for you. Horses take particular offense from authority, and you may find yourself dealing with "the law" in 2008. Romance and money both look bad. Be aware of your budget and be disciplined in your relationship and you should be able to ride out the year without too much trouble. On a final note, Yellow Horses are not like most Horses, and for that reason you will not find '08 as difficult as other Horses, and on top of that, it is the year of the Yellow Rat, so it is not as diametrically opposed as it really could be. Nonetheless, it's a shitty forecast. Sorry bro!
