Well hopefully we can get this thread stuck right away and the old freelance one cut loose. It is here I hope we can come together as a community and swap some seed.
We're running out of time for the spring season and probably we'll have till the end of April to get some seeds traded for any spring planting anywhere..... Lets try to keep this thread simple and for the most part just a list of what you have available and/or want. Lets keep all communications and neogotiations private and to the pm system. Feel free to update and edit your trade lists for as long as the board will allow. Be sure to include any successful references to/with concen traders in your trade post as well! |

RE: Seed Trading "HERE" at concen 2010 season
TODDTRAF'S TRADING POST
I HAVE THE FOLLOWING AVAILABLE NOW Perrenials Rhubarb -(50+ year old root source) Great raw and pie making rhubarb. Red stalks with light green meat. (germinated in less than 10 days) Chives- These are almost a weed at my house. But I use them in everything and the kids snack on them all the time. lots of flowers in spring. NY Wild Iris- More petite than cultivated kinds and will spread by root and seed. Not sure what the rules on these may be. Don't care much either. Veggies Heirloom Cherokee Purple Tomatoes - Not sure the authenticity of the namesake but these are awesome huge multicolored tomatoes. Some of the best tasting I've grown. The seeds of course came from the most "perfect" fruit I could grow. (germinated in less than 10 days) Strawberry Popcorn I bought this seed once and have been collecting it from my own crop for 8 years now. It has never failed me and produced awesome red kernaled popcorn. The popcorn itself pops with more of a popped grain texture than your movie styrofoam type. I have had this go white on me in one or two ears now and then. If I think of more I'll add them. Will have loads and more variety again in the fall of course. **Just got these** Heirloom Yellow Pear Tomato Roma Paste Tomato "Muncher" Cukes WISHLIST Any Heirloom Variety Vegetables (ones with personal history and stories are the best) Stone Pine- or any pine nut conifer. Ginseng - any variety PawPaw low bush Cranberry Any medicinal or Tea Type plants ("ANY!") Any Viable Fruit or Nut tree seeds (Zone 4-5) *anything interesting* |

RE: Seed Trading "HERE" at concen 2010 season
I have withania somnifera berries - each berry contains many many seeds.
My psychotria Virdis looks like it is going to attempt to throw out some fruit - which surprised me - so, in a while I will also have fresh Psychotria Virdis berries too - these are only viable for a short time and then go into a deep dormancy and can take up to a year to then germinate if ever. fresh psycho virdis berries are very hard to find. the plant had dmt in it's leaves. also Nictotina Rusticana seeds. lots of other seeds too many to write here. maybe later. |

Aw man I missed it last year somehow. I got 5 feet of snow on the ground still so I'll chime in in a bit.

I'm not against trading seeds with some of the more familiar members. Its snowing today and I still have a good ft or 2 of hardpack as well Fasttadpole. I'm just too lazy to start a thread this year. I have too much to inventory and list. I see you changed the title of the 2010 thread and saved me the trouble! |

RE: Seed Trading "HERE" at ConCen 2011 Season!
We are planning a move before the winter really sets in here (Wales), hoping the next month. And it's to a place with ample garden space (currently we have none), and I plan to get quite nuts and creative in the garden permaculture wise.
So hopefully I'll be able to join in at some point. "He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked." -- 1 John 2:6

This is the interrelated structure of reality." -- Martin Luther King Jr. "He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him." -- Proverbs 18:13 "Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself." -- Leo Tolstoy "To love is to be vulnerable" -- C.S Lewis The Kingdom of God is within you! -- Luke 17:20-21 https://duckduckgo.com/ |

Last call for spring starter seeds. Still time to trade direct sow summer seeds! I've updated my list.
I'll have alot of stuff for next year. I bought a ton of seed this year from Pinetree Garden seeds. They have amazing prices and alot of heirloom seed. |
