anybody else digging the Kings Of Leon?
In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal. As a reputed atheist, the reverential nature of his film was surprising, but Pasolini himself said &If you know that I am an unbeliever, then you know me better than I do myself. I may be an unbeliever, but I am an unbeliever who has a nostalgia for a belief.&

They play Kings of Leon on both rock radio stations here in LA about twice every half hour. Seriously overplayed.

Try listening to them while smoking the hookah. In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal. RE: anybody else digging the Kings Of Leon?
I remember when they were a local band playing around here. I've seen them around and at Bonnaroo. I'm afraid they are getting the Big Head syndrome and it's having a negative impact on their attitudes and music. I don't listen to the radio, so I would never know if they are overplayed or not. IMO, they are all right but a little on the simplistic side for my tastes.
