Video Media Watch (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
Not a bad broadcast that is highly critical of the way Australian news is spun. It attempts to bring balance into the debate in the few segments I have seen.

Not a bad show for an Australian state owned broadcasting corporation, although it can be glossy and often covers nitpicky, somewhat irrelevant issues and rarely goes to the extra mile to show the bigger picture.

That said, some a good option for leads if you are a watcher, not a reader.

It started airing on Feb 8th, 2012 and has since run 8 episodes all available, streaming and downloadable (mp4/vodcast) online from their video page.

Wonder how long it will stay on air, or compromise its hard-bunting style of journalism?

There are no others, there is only us.

RE: Media Watch (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
Just as some additional info, the Aussie show Media Watch referenced above has been screening in Australia for a couple of decades, and has gone through two or three hosts. At some point in recent times though the show was watered down a little and isn't quite as on target as it used to be. The former Howard government (a very conservative bunch) stacked the ABC board with right-wingers (many of whom care little for the ABC's independence as a broadcaster) and the recent Rudd and Gillard governments have been extremely slow to redress the balance, much to their gradual regret.
