Authorities in Mendocino County, California, are so fed up with the number of marijuana plants they've seized this year - 227,000 in all - that they are calling for its legalization.

The county tops the state in marijuana growth, doubling since 2002. They also say the actual amount out there is up to 10 times more than what they've been able to eradicate.

Only 1 county supervisor didn't sign a letter sent to lawmakers in Washington, urging them to change the laws so that it can be regulated, not unlike alcohol. They say this would allow greater control over its use, distribution and where it is grown.

The structure of capitalism is flawed. The motor that powers it cannot but vastly increase the disparity between the poor and the rich globally and within countries as well. Dr. Hermann Oberth who pioneered rocket design for the German Reich during World War II and later advanced rocket technology for the American manned space launches, cryptically stated: "We cannot take the credit for our record advancement in certain scientific fields alone; we have been helped."

When asked by whom, he replied: "The people of other worlds."

Legalization and regulation is STILL bullshit.

De-criminalize, de-regulate, and mostly just fuck off. Thats what law enforcement needs to do about pot.
