As I was biking this morning I nodded with a driver whom I barely recognized. I then thought "the conspiratorial head-nods" would be a good band name because this person and I immediately had established a sense of trust from that quick facial recognition. Then I coincidentally discovered this essay by Professor Chris Knight who writes about that exact same thing!! Full-lotus yoga relies on ANALOG communication while language is digital, using head gestures, and leads to conspiracies. |
