Well excellent as the work may be, any time I see mention of Uri Geller I immediately think of James Randi, who somehow never got to see Uri bend a spoon.
In fact The Amazing Randi still offers a million dollar reward for proof of superpowers, albeit in a "controlled setting" whatever that might entail. To date the offer remains unclaimed. see randi.org
So drew, thanks for the offering, I'll look into it more.

Ooh -- mention of James Randi makes me cringe -- hold on while I give you all the dirt on Magic James Randi, the master of Disinformation! Ok start with this -- a thorough debunking of the poor man Randi (he just had heart surgery!) -- the below blog gives extensive details about how RANDI LIED WHEN COVERING URI GELLER.

Here I am single-computerly fighting off all the Science Cult followers of PZ Myers -- a Randi-spin-off. haha. http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2006/07nk_dump.php So I provide detailed evidence on WHY RANDI'S $1 Million "bet" was disproven with Ted Serios already!!
Then there's Dennis Stillings who pulled a Randi on Randi himself! Randi sent some of his thugs to attack Stilling's paranormal research -- only the whole experiment was a charade to set Randi up -- a fake paranormal experiment!! Sure enough Randi misreported the whole thing and then refused to believe it had been faked.
haha. Poor Magick Randi and still people "follow" him -- just shows off bad off the T.V. generation is.
