This is my first tracker and so I'm having a little trouble figuring out how things works. I checked some of the faqs and tutorials and didn't see anything about my question.

From what I understand of the tracker community, one's seed/leech ratio is important, when applying for private trackers and whatnot. I spent some time seeding last night, but on my profile under stats, it says I've seeded zero bytes yet it accurately displays how much I've downloaded. Am I doing something wrong? How does the ratio thing work with this tracker? Or maybe there is a page or rules that I haven't read.
welcome. I´m glad you asked this very community - conscientious question.

Did you happen to watch on your client and make sure you actually were uploading? just because you spent time seeding doesn't mean you actually seeded anything... no worries though, you can pick up freeleech files (with the rotating gold coin next to the torrent listing,) and keep seeding them, and all that counts is what you upload - this is the best way to cushion ratio on private trackers where you´re a n00b and have nothing to upload... then again, you can also find obscure or new stuff that doesn't show up in the search module here elsewhere on the web or in your own collection, create a torrent and seed it, and you'll end up with a lot more upload credit. I doubt you´ll run into trouble (here) if you keep seeding the files you've downloaded until you hit a 1:1 (or 1.0) ratio.
