ConCen

Full Version: TRACKER System Maintenance:: You have to add your own Passkey

We're adding new (open) trackers right now and there is a bit of a glitch so for the time being while upping a torrent you need to add your own passkey while downloading the torrent manually.

Code:
http://concen.org/announce?passkey=whateveryourpasskeyis

It can be found on your account profile:
http://concen.org/tracker/account.php

This may apply to BOTH uploading and downloading torrents.

So for example you need to go in uTorrent; select your torrent; open the trackers tab; add tracker and change the line where it says

Code:
http://concen.org/announce/

to

Code:
http://concen.org/announce?passkey=XXX59a9631c37deeac8a0f85741

..or whatevever your passkey from your account says it is.

.. and hit OK

This should be temporary but I don't have an ETA for resolution.

Change is Good but sometimes a bit of a bumpy ride. Be assured that The Yeti is working OT on this issue.
This problem was temporarily fixed, but reverted back after brief testing.

What FastTadpole says is correct. Currently, If you want to use the http://concen.org/announce URL along with other trackers, you need to manually append your passkey to the end of the URL. You can also add the 2 new URLs to the torrent:

http://concen.org:6969/announce
udp://concen.org:6969/announce

Probably by tomorrow I'll have it fixed. Rest assured though that I've done this for a reason...
Thanks for the explanation. I tried to upload a torrent after not doing so for a long time, and it didn't really work. Finding this info on the forum was easy and now it works.
Seems this issue may be back Sad

Not true.
You're right, though it is for this torrent: http://concen.org/tracker/torrents-details.php?id=27244

Not true. It's a different issue. It also affects only one torrent.

As I said in the modbox, I don't see anything wrong on this end. I see the symptoms, but not the cause.
Ah, now I understand. When I read "I don;t see anything wrong", I thought you were saying you could not see the "symptoms". Sorry man, simple misunderstanding. Cheers man.
