The commentator jumps to the conclusion that this is a cloaked alien spaceship and even titled the video "Amazing huge cloaked UFO next to Mercury MUST SEE!!!" (256,420 views at post time). Whatever the case it looks like something near mercury reacted to the energy wave (coronal burst) or was part of the burst itself according to the video.

Video Uploaded on December 3rd, Footage from Dec 1st.

Quote:In the footage, one sees a huge spurt of plasma and other solar ejecta washing over Mercury; peculiarly, the material seems to flare up as it hits another nearby object, too.

Thoughts? More information? Different angles? Official statements?
Yeah, I thought he jumped to that conclusion as well. They are taking the same route that the MSM takes in trying to get all the hits they can by saying the most outlandish claims without being able to supply corroborating evidence to back it up.

It is an interesting video and does deserve to be studied and investigated, though. Then follow where the evidence and data lead...but that is so outmoded...the scientific method and all....sheesh...
Yep it is definitely an interesting video. To me most likely he just said that to get as many views as he can. Especially, since he has no liable evidence to backup his claims. Needs more evidence to back it up.
Here's some response from "professional scientists", I don't know that's enough to say anything conclusive because I'm not familiar with the specific technique NASA used for image processing, but it's plausible.

Quote:"Is that a giant alien death star ship parked over by Mercury? asks Hamilton Nolan at Gawker. No, it's not. "Professional scientists" explain that it's "actually an image of Mercury itself, which appears due to the way the telescope imagery is double-processed to enhance its clarity." Yes, sorry to be a killjoy, says Ian O'Neill at Discovery News. But "sadly for siniXster, conspiracy theorists, ufologists, and Star Trek buffs, there's no Klingons off Mercury's starboard bow."

Still nothing official from NASA.
