Legendary singer Tony Bennett said in an interview with Howard Stern on Monday night that 'we caused' the 9/11 attacks.

He also went on to say that President George W. Bush confided in him that the war in Iraq was a mistake.

Speaking on Stern's Sirius Radio show, Mr Bennett, who describes himself as a pacifist, said: 'They flew the plane in, but we caused it.

"They did it, because we are over there", is no less bullshit than the official lie where 2 high rise buildings fell at near free-fall speed because the fires were too hot.

People are very eager to settle for lies, wrapped in false pretenses of humility and honesty.

A lie sugar-coated in fake honesty is worse than a plain lie, because it is not easily detectable to the un-trained mind.
