I aint using it to my satisfaction... I presume this is a tracker/forum, linked/nonlinked user/account issue?

I went to look at the forum for torrent comments, but appear to be banned?

You do not have permission to access this page. This could be because of one of the following reasons:

1. Your account has either been suspended or you have been banned from accessing this resource.
2. You do not have permission to access this page. Are you trying to access administrative pages or a resource that you shouldn't be? Check in the forum rules that you are allowed to perform this action.
3. Your account may still be awaiting activation or moderation. (Resend Activation Code)
4. You have accessed this page directly rather than using appropriate forms or link.

The text is misleading. When someone tries to access a thread that is deleted, that message comes up. I frequently delete threads in "Torrent Comments" which have no replies.
I'd object to that practice of deleting comment thread starters unless they were banned torrents. Then they have a missing thread as Mike pointed out. I say keep 'em. If the objection is pollution and driving down good discussions we have sort and search features available and now the possibly related threads plug-in.

It stifles, and for those that only access comment threads via the tracker roadblocks** conversation and tracker integration with the forum.

** If one were to re-create the comment thread themselves in Torrent Comments or another section of the forum.

This is not true, because I also remove the link from the tracker description to the thread (I set the thread ID to 0).
What is your justification for having a Torrent Comment thread without comments?
Let me test that ..

Oh yes '0' does get rid of the association altogether. I learned something new today.

So in response .. prune, prune, prune away. Full integration at some point will merge all this and make them searchable via a common UI and a linked query bridge for both DBs.

Quite the undertaking I know .. we'll have to talk more on that when work and family aren't so heavy a load on me and I can offer some more assistance.

On that note .. back to work -- after a quick new torrents look-see.

=)

FYI: it does keep the 'thanks' increment correctly
