Full Version: BUG :: 'Add Comment' Issue When Adding New Torrent Comments Threads from Tracker
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
We're having issues replicating a known bug when a user clicks on the 'Add Comment' button to start a new Torrent Comments Thread.

The end result being a New Thread created with the username of Guest.

The correct way would be for the Username to be posted instead of Guest -- that is if the user registered with the same email address and username on both the forum and tracker (indicated by a green checkmark by your Tracker Username) AND logged into both.

It's been tweaked a bit but it still persists. This has been a tad difficult because the problem seems to rear it's ugly head unpredictably. There have been theories that it has to do with the state of the login on the forum and tracker involving browser cookies.

Please post any reports of this issue here or email us at tracker@concen.org outlining, in as much detail as possible, how the error manifested. This can be either for your own torrents or hitting 'Add Comment' on another torrent.

Thanks for all the help in debugging so far. We hope to resolve this soon.

That's sorted for you now. For some reason it had been deleted.
