Hi,
Im still confused about torrents.
I ve got bit torrent installed so I can search
for torrents and download them.... thats fine.

But I would also like to contribute some files on
a variety of subjects ... I may be thick.. but so far
I just cant do it.

a couple of weeks ago I went onto a site ( was it mininova )
and uploaded a file and it was passed on and put on a torrent etc

everything seemed to work ok I thought the torrent was up
there, but doing searches for the file, its never come up
on any search, pirate or whatever.


Ideally I d like to be able to put a file up there,
vid, text, pic s whatever and then go back in a weeks time
and see the No of downloads ( like you can with Pando for eg

But Pando only keeps the files up there for a few days

I was thinking of torrents as a new way of sharing when things could be up ther e for weeks or months..... I suppose the No of seeders controls
that .

Maybe theres somewhere that lays out the procedure
step by step... that even I can follow ?
