Very nice Woken. This should be a sticky at the top...

On that subject I wanted to make a request or suggestion. Can we possibly make a sticky up top with a list of sites like this one for research purposes? Something for the noobs as well as others seeking more. Maybe one for each major false flag op, or mesh them all together in one. I'll leave that decision for the "Jungian Masterminds" :tongue:

Another drill taking place on 911 was Vigilant Warrior. According to Arias Donald C Maj 1AF/PA, Vigilant Warrior was a Joint Chiefs live-fly hijack drill, which in my opinion, was responsible for the "cellphone calls" from the crew and passengers.

Other drills served as integrated components of the attack itself. I believe the commercial flights that day were actually swapped out with drones, which were currently involved in either terror drills or wargames. (see Amalgam Virgo link1 link2 and the Unnamed NRO drill)

In 1962 the Joint Chiefs of Staff proposed a plan to give the United States a pretext to invade Cuba. This plan involved plane swapping.

aircraft belonging to a CIA proprietary organization in the
Miami area. At a designated time the duplicate would be
substituted for the actual civil aircraft and would be

b. “Take off times of the drone aircraft and the actual
aircraft will be scheduled to allow a rendezvous south of

have been made to evacuate the passengers and return the
aircraft to its original status. The drone aircraft
meanwhile will continue to fly the filed flight plan. When
over Cuba the drone will being transmitting on the inter-
national distress frequency a “MAY DAY” message stating he
is under attack by Cuban MIG aircraft. The transmission
will be interupted by destruction of the aircraft which will
be triggered by radio signal. This will allow ICAO radio.”

For more on wargames read chapters 19-23 in "Crossing the Rubicon" where Mike Ruppert focuses on the wargames taking place on 911 and places Vice President Dick Cheney in command of the events.

One of the earliest works on 911 plane swaps and well worth the read is "Flight Of The Bumble Planes" (Snake Plissken/Carol A. Valentine) This was released only 6 months after the attacks. Operation Pearl is based on the Flight of the Bumble Planes but is much more in depth.

Team8+'s "Holes in the Radar" is a bit more recent and makes for an excellent introduction to plane swapping.

Phil Jayhan of letsroll911.org posted an alternate hypothesis on plane swapping here.

Another must-read is "The Lost War Drill" by Nico Haupt (ewing2001). Haupt's work is included in "Crossing the Rubicon" and heavily influenced the wargames chapters. However, where Rubicon stopped production and went to print, Haupt kept investigating Wargames and ESPECIALLY Terror Drills, which in sum, constitute the attacks that happened on September 11th.

The Hijackers

In my opinion the hijackers were patsies who were not aboard the flights. Although I disagree with Daniel Hopsicker's conclusion that they actually piloted the planes, Hopsicker is an excellent source for researching Mohamed Atta and the Venice/Sarasota flight schools. I recommend his book "Welcome to Terrorland" and his documentary "Mohamed Atta and the Venice Flying Circus". His website is at www.madcowprod.com

Another source for flight school information is the documentary "Loose Change" by Dylan Avery. Avery interviews the head of the flight school at the Maryland airport where Hani Hanjour, the pilot who allegedly flew flight 77 into the Pentagon, received low marks for his flying ability.

In addition to this forum, I've found the September 11th forum on DU to be quite useful, many seasoned 911 researchers post there.

United Flight 9073, en route from Paris to Chicago, will be hijacked Saturday. An escort of swarming military jets will force it to land at Logan International Airport in Boston. After a hostage is killed and thrown onto the tarmac, an assault team will storm the plane. Ambulances will speed away with the injured.

And it's all a drill.

It's the first terrorism exercise in the United States involving an in-flight military intercept of a commercial jet since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, Massachusetts Port Authority officials say.

They added that the three-hour exercise should not disrupt air traffic in or out of Logan, where the two planes that slammed into the World Trade Center in New York took off.

There are no plans, however, to make announcements in Logan's terminals as regular flights land and depart, said United spokesman Jeff Green. Airline employees have been briefed on how to answer passengers' questions, he said.

Despite news reports and announcements about the full-scale terrorism preparedness exercise, some airport neighbors said yesterday that they didn't know about it. On Elmer Avenue in Winthrop, about 350 feet across the water from Logan, Daniela Foley said it was news to her. Debra Cave, president of East Boston's Eagle Hill Civic Association, and Karen Maddalena of the Jeffries Point Neighborhood Association had not heard of the drill, either.

''As far as I know, and I have friends who live up and down, nobody's mentioned this going on," said Carol Harvey, a lifelong Winthrop resident on Circuit Road.

Even if the hijacking were real, though, it might not get noticed. Harvey said flashing lights and sounds at Logan don't draw too much notice from nearby residents, who have learned to turn the airport off. ''We don't really blink too much when they see a commotion," she said.

Officials plan a news conference tomorrow to get the word out. ''All appropriate outreach was undertaken . . . and the community should not panic," Massport spokeswoman Danny Levy said.

The Massport website says, ''Residents should be aware that if they see a large number of emergency vehicles en route to Logan Airport on the morning of May 7, it is a drill, not an actual emergency, and there is no need for concern."

The plane used in the exercise will carry about 80 role-playing passengers and hijackers, who will pretend to commandeer the plane as it flies over the Atlantic. Jets will be dispatched to intercept the flight and force it to land.

Hundreds of people from nearly 50 federal, state, and local agencies will then converge on Logan. Tactical assault, hazardous materials, and other teams will handle hostage negotiations, injured passengers, and other emergency situations, including the threat of a bomb on the plane.

At one point, a dummy will be thrown from the plane to simulate a young hostage killed by the hijackers, said a Logan source involved with planning the exercise, who asked not to be identified.

During the drill, helicopters will be banned from airspace over and around Logan to prevent the media and others from photographing the mock tactical assault, which US authorities want to keep secret, the source said.

The exercise, dubbed Operation Atlas, is intended to find and close gaps in city, state, and federal emergency responses.

The drill, plus meetings to discuss other attack scenarios, is expected to cost about $700,000 and will be paid for by a Department of Homeland Security grant.

In the above article from May 5th, 2005, the following statement was made:

"It's the first terrorism exercise in the United States involving an in-flight military intercept of a commercial jet since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, Massachusetts Port Authority officials say."

This could be interpreted in a couple of ways:

1. Atlas is the first in-flight intercept drill ever.
2. Atlas is the first in-flight intercept drill since Sept. 11th, in which a previous in-flight intercept drill took place. (Vigilant Warrior)

One month later and that statement sheds a few pounds:

June 4th, 2005 AP reports:



""Operation Atlas," which cost roughly $700,000 and brought together about 50 federal, state and local agencies, was billed as the first training drill involving a real airborne intercept of a commercial airliner."

What is implied by this statement is that Operation Atlas was the first ever in-flight commercial airline intercept drill. This is far from the truth.

More data is needed to draw any type of conclusion, however there ahas been a major uptick in drills during May and June 2005. Whether this is due to warm weather or recent funding or another dress rehearsal for another attack remains to be seen.

The last time there were this many drills in one month (not including September 2001) was June 2001 (below), which I suspect to be the rehearsal for 911.
