Bush invaded Iran last night

by John in DC - 1/11/2007

Last night, Bush sent US forces to attack the inviolate territory of a foreign diplomatic mission, the Iranian mission in northern Iraq - legally, the land of a foreign nation - and took the Iranians hostage. It's hard to see under international law how this is legal, let alone how this isn't an act of war.

And it's beyond ironic that we appear to have condoned the very action that we condemned Iran for - attacking diplomatic missions in violation of international law.

But what's most troubling about this is the transparency of what Bush is up to. He's trying to provoke a war with Iran, either by forcing Iran to strike back, or by discovering secret Iranian diplomatic documents that would prove their complicity in helping the insurgents in Iraq. We just invaded Iran last night, folks. Foreign embassies and diplomatic outposts are legally the foreign soil of the country represented. We invaded Iran. This is an act of war.

From AP:

Iraqi officials said Thursday that multinational forces detained as many as six Iranians in an overnight raid on Tehran's diplomatic mission in the northern city of Irbil....

The forces stormed the Iranian mission at about 3 a.m., detaining the five staffers and confiscating computers and documents, two senior local Kurdish officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the information....

At some point, we are a country of laws. That is supposed to be what differentiates us from the Irans and the Al Qaedas and the Saddams of the world. This is an incredibly serious breach of international law. It's also an act of war. A war we can't afford. Someone needs to stop this man before he kills again.

Embassies are considered foreign soil, owned by the nation running the embassy. So Bush has technically invaded Iran.
This is Big news.

Apparently Bush has bypassed all lawful avenues in regard to starting legal wars.

And he's getting away with it. Things are really going to get messy now.

It's obvious that he's intending to provoke Iran into War. All he needs now is one of those air carriers in the persian gulf to get attacked and there you have it. Problem - Reaction - Solution. Once Iran is involved then its pretty certain China will get involved. They've invested a hell of a lot of capital in Iranian Oil and I doubt their going to roll over and let those Nazi Fucks just steal it from them.

I think their trying to exhaust America's military might so that when they attempt their coup d'etat no one will be able to stop them. Hence the so called Gulf War Syndrome and their attempts to unarm the American people.

I know this is probably old news to most of you but i'm thinking out loud.

When it comes, be ready. WW3 is on its way.
If you like driving or riding your motor bike, then start storing petrol. I never let any of fuel tanks get below 50% . I also have a buffer of 160ltr's of petrol put aside in metal jerry cans. +20ltr of diesil just incase I need a Hiab to move my 20ft shipping container. There's also a bit more in there than just petrol  . However there's still a lot of work to be done. I'm a real slack arse...

Anyway, I reckon there's enough fuel in there to keep me going normaly for a number of months if need be. Longer if I ration. It's realy a bit of a ballancing act. But I think I have it right between storing enough to be useful and not having so much that by the time you rotate the stocks it's getting stale. The fuel lasts a lot longer in sealed metal containers than plastic as well if you didn't know.

Unfortunately if the shit hits the fan in the gulf I guess things will be very bad for quite some time. Still, having a head start over others could be quite a bonus.

Time to start building up your stashes lads!
